Late April News

I just wanted to make a quick mention of some permanent, but not drastic, changes to the Scent-imental Street product line.

As you may or may not know, I was getting ready to add a bath and body product line. This will now not happen. I have recently become an Independent Consultant with a cosmetics and body products company (I can't say their name here, but if you ask me, I'll be glad to give you more information). As part of this company, I am not allowed to engage in any business practices that are considered to be direct competition to this company. Since I believe in that company's products as much as my own (which is why I joined their team), I will honor that request, and I will stick to exclusively candles and fragrance items. Since I like "experimenting", I'm sure I'll keep making some bath and body products, I just will not sell them. If you're a friend of mine, expect to continue to be subjected to some of my experiments. :)

I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to the body line, but this really is best for me, as I'm more experienced in making candles, and I'll continue to perfect that craft. I really do believe in this other company as much as my own, and there's absolutely NO WAY that anything I could make could even begin to come close to the products that they make.

New Stuff! I Can't Stop Creating Things!!!

We've been working our crazy tails off over here at Scent-imental Street! We've just added Rock Star air fresheners to the site. In the next few days, we'll be rolling out new candle scents, plus we'll be adding body splashes and bath salts and much much more!

Completely Revamped Site and an Extension on the Grab Bag Promo!

That's right, Scent-imental Street has steered away from Etsy (we still love Etsy and you should support them and the wonderful crafters there...we do!) to our very own site, one that we have a little more control with as far as page elements and the shopping carts and such. Also, since we have a MUCH more accurate shipping calculator (it still has a FEW flaws though...please read the "Important Information" page on the site to avoid any problems), we're now charging LESS for the candles! Plus, we have Jammin Scents (you might know them as "smelly jellies") on the site. The Jammin Scents are available in a TON of fragrances. They're inexpensive and LONG-lasting!

Also, the "Grab Bag" promotion has been extended until April 17th, so get your orders in soon! You never know what I'll throw in there!

Coming up soon, we'll have the candles available in even more scents, and also in a bigger, 14 oz size! Also, we'll be putting up some bath and body products in some of the same fab scents as our candles and Jammin Scents. We'll have another sale going on just after Tax Day, plus May will be the start of having a "Scent of the Month" and we'll also have gift baskets and a "Candle of the Month" club available soon...and you will not BELIEVE the savings you'll get on the Candle of the Month club!
